Two felony charges for alleged Portsmouth drug dealer

PORTSMOUTH — Police arrested a city man on two counts of sale of a controlled drug.

Edward T. Critten, 44, of 20 Weald Road, was arrested Wednesday following a lengthy investigation by the Portsmouth Police Detective Division into sales of heroin in the city.

Bail for Critten was set at $15,000 cash, pending his video arraignment in Circuit Court-Portsmouth District Division.

Police formed the High Intensity Drug Interdiction Team to target street and mid-level drug dealers operating in Portsmouth.
