Merrimack police find car sticking into road, charge man

MERRIMACK — Police said the driver of a vehicle parked partially in a lot and partially on the Daniel Webster Highway at 3 a.m. Tuesday showed signs of alcohol impairment.

After a brief investigation, Kevin Cooney, 44, of 115 Amory St., Manchester, was arrested. Once at the police station, Cooney was charged with aggravated operating under the influence and open container.

He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear Sept. 10 in Circuit Court-Merrimack District Division.
