Following the reception, a half hour music program will be performed, which will include a select choir, West said. The program will also include the performance of a composition written by Granite State composer Andrew Boyson Jr. Boyson, a professor of music at the University of New Hampshire, was commissioned earlier this year to compose a custom piece using lyrics from Robert Frost’s “A Prayer in Spring.”
A dinner will follow in the Hackler Gymnasium. Jamie Staton, from WMUR, will serve as the master of ceremonies and will introduce various dignitaries. Staton will keep it light and entertaining throughout the dinner, West said.
Tickets are $40 and can be purchased by calling the theater box office at 437-5210 between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or visiting www. Stockbridgetheatre.com.
