Club Briefs: Matthew Thornton DAR members attend service
Four members of the Matthew Thornton Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution in Nashua attended the 67th N.H. State Organization of DAR’s service at the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge on Aug. 9.
MANCHESTER — The Manchester Choral Society will have an open sing and a potluck lunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 669 Union St. All interested singers are welcome.
Regular rehearsals take place from 7 to 9:15 p.m. at Manchester Community Music School.
The society’s 54th season will include Christmas Tapestry concerts Dec. 13 and 14 and the second installment of its Masterworks Series on May 16 and 17.
MCS is supported by generous donations from many individuals, local businesses and foundations including the NH Charitable Foundation (Corbit Fund), and the Frederick Smyth Institute of Music.
