Mass. police incursion into NH fails to locate pursued man




Holcroft soon began chasing him north on Bear Hill Road at speeds of up to 70 mph, twice the rural road’s speed limit. Eventually, the suspect crossed the border into Newton, N.H., and abruptly turned around. He then began driving toward Holcroft’s approaching cruiser. The suspect then crashed his car into an embankment on the corner where Bear Hill Road meets Amesbury Road and fled on foot, according to Shears.
