Dover chief calls ACLU concerns about militarization of law enforcement ridiculous

Dover Police Chief Anthony Colarusso said complaints about the so-called militarization of police are ridiculous. “The message that is getting out there is that the police are mobilizing as a military force and, frankly, that's laughable to the people in this room,” he said this week, during a meeting of Strafford County law enforcement officials. “We don't have machine gun turrets on top of the vehicles.”
