Rochester police ask for public’s help to ID restaurant robber

ROCHESTER — Police are looking for a man who claimed to have a weapon and demanded money at a downtown restaurant.

Police responded Sunday at 5:51 p.m. when employees at Dos Amigos, 15 Wakefield St., called.

After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the man left the business and fled on foot. No one was hurt, according to police.

A police K-9 team was unable to locate the man, who was described as white, between 18- to 25-years-old with brown hair and “scruffy” facial hair. He was about 5-11 and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and sunglasses, police said.

Anyone with information can contact Rochester police at 330-7127.
