Claremont hires private investigator to review if city employees stole from seized property
CLAREMONT — The city has hired a Hudson-based private investigator to review the actions of city staff after receiving complaints over the way a property was taken for tax purposes. The City Council voted last month to hire an investigator in order to put to rest rumors about city employees stealing from a dilapidated property.
