Owner of gun stolen and brought to school fined $1,000
STRATHAM — A Kingston man who owned the loaded handgun that a Cooperative Middle School student brought to school in April pleaded guilty Monday and was fined $1,000. Richard Tuite, 60, of 31 Little River Road, was sentenced in Plaistow Circuit Court after pleading guilty to a charge of negligent storage of firearms — a violation-level offense.
