Shaheen heads to South Carolina to raise money for campaign


 





U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-New Hampshire) is headed to South Carolina to raise money from Palmetto State Democrats, sources familiar with her visit tell FITS. Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2008, Shaheen has been a reliable vote for Barack Obama. She passed the deciding vote in the U.S. Senate for Obamacare in December 2009 – and frequently parroted Obama's infamous “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it” promise.
