A Stoddard woman was injured Wednesday when she drove over the center line of Route 9 into the path of an oncoming pickup truck, according to a state police press release.
Rebekah Hebert, 25, was heading east on Route 9 shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday when she crossed into the road's westbound lane and into the path of a pickup truck driven by Dustin Gaulin, 50, of Ware, Mass., the release said. The truck hit an embankment on the road's shoulder, causing it to roll over twice. A passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries and declined transport to a hospital, the release said.
Hebert, whose car hit guardrails before stopping, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and she was taken to Cheshire Medical Center in Keene for treatment. Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to factors in the crash, the release said.
