Stolen gun leads to Nashua charges

NASHUA — A city man is under arrest, accused of buying a gun that was stolen in a burglary last month.

Hector Rodriguez, 20, of 7 Union St., #1, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with receiving stolen property, a Class A felony, and a Class B felony related to him being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

The investigation began July 25 when a burglary at a downtown residence was reported. Among the items stolen were three handguns.

During the investigation, police learned Rodriguez allegedly bought one of the stolen guns, and he was arrested.

Rodriguez was being held on $12,500 cash/surety bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
