Goffstown to play Barnstable in final game of pool play at New England Regional

Goffstown Little League faces Barnstable, Mass., today in its final game of pool play at 4 p.m. at the New England Regional in Bristol, Conn.

The New Hampshire champions are 1-2 after Monday’s 10-0 loss to Cumberland American (R.I.).

The top four of six finishers will play in the regional semifinals Thursday.

Today’s game will be televised on NESN.

Cumberland American led 5-0 in the bottom of the first before Goffstown was able to record the first out of the inning Tuesday.

Jayden Struble (RBI single), Addison Kopack (RBI double) and Trey Bourque (RBI single) had the big hits in the inning, which ended with Cumberland American ahead 7-0.

Myles Green, Connor Hujsak and Liam Kilbreth had the only hits for Goffstown.
