Weare will celebrate Old Home Day Aug. 23
The vintage parade will kick off at 10 a.m. down the middle of Rt. 114. Participants are welcomed to dress in period costumes, or decorate a bike, stroller or wagon.
“You are going to be busy if you are here for the day,” said organizer Heleen Kurk. There will be food and music throughout the day and interactive displays.
“You name the craft, we’ll have someone here for that. It’s a huge variety. Many nonprofits are participating, such as therapy dogs that kids like to read to,” said Kurk.
