Illegal immigrant arrested by state police after trying to obtain NH driver's license
NASHUA — An illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic was arrested Friday by state police after allegedly trying to obtain a New Hampshire’s driver’s license, according to a release.
Rigo Rodriguez, 25, who lives in Lawrence, Mass., was arrested at the state Department of Motor Vehicles office in Nashua after an investigation revealed he was in the United States illegally. He was charged with multiple counts of tampering with public records and unsworn falsification, as well as being a fugitive of justice stemming from an outstanding warrant in Massachusetts on a charge of cocaine possession, the release said.
He is scheduled to appear Monday in Nashua District Court.
