Manchester police name suspects in Thursday shooting
MANCHESTER — Police are seeking two city men in connection with the shooting of a man Thursday in the area of Lowell Street, between Haines Court and Jane Street, at about 2:20 p.m.
The victim, who police have not identified, suffered a leg wound and was taken to Elliot Hospital for treatment.
David K. Roberts, 30, of 165 W. Hancock St., is wanted on charges of first-degree assault, armed robbery and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
Jose Miranda, 25, of 163 W. Hancock St., is sought on charges of armed robbery and felony in possession of a dangerous weapon.
Miranda was the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive of the Week July 24. He is being sought by both state and federal law enforcement in New Hampshire. Miranda has absconded from both federal and state supervision, where he was on supervision as part of his sentence for distribution of cocaine and reckless conduct with a firearm.
Police said both men are considered armed and dangerous and if they are seen on the street, the public is asked to call 911 immediately, or call Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040 with any information about the whereabouts of either man.
Police said the investigation is continuing and the victim is recovering from his injuries.
