Police say youths at New Boston underage drinking party resisted arrest

NEW BOSTON — Police said many of the 29 youths arrested at an underage drinking party over the weekend resisted arrest.

Responding to a noise complaint, police broke up the party at 32 Whipplewill Road around 2 a.m. on Saturday.

Cody Howe, 18, of 32 Whipplewill Road, was charged with facilitating an underage drinking party, possession of a controlled drug, unlawful possession of alcohol and resisting arrest or detention. He is scheduled to appear in Goffstown District Court on Sept. 16.

Arrested for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs, unlawful possession of alcohol and resisting arrest or detention was Grady Mellin, 19, of Henniker.

Arrested for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and resisting arrest or detention were: Yanick Baribeau, 18, of Bedford; Michael Lamy, 19, of Dunbarton; Alex Duval, 18, of Manchester; and Peter Shea, 19, of Bedford.

Arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol and resisting arrest or detention were: Kevin Elliott, 19, of New Boston; and Brandon Bushey, 18, of Manchester.

Arrested for resisting arrest or detention were: Jake Louis, 20, of New Boston; Joshua Roy, 17, of Merrimack; Nicholas Brown, 18, of Goffstown; Joshua Gaudette, 18, of Nashua; Adam Martin, 19, of Weare; Michelle Boucher, 18, of Bedford; Emma Gardner, 18, of Milford; Hannah Johnson, 17, of Bedford; Vanessa MacMillan, 17, of Bedford; Brandon Manning, 19, of Amherst; James Ewing, 18, of Amherst; Sean Power, 17, of Bedford; Kevin Kelly, 19, of Goffstown; Daniel Swift, 18, of Goffstown; Taylor Radke, 17, of Bedford; and Nicole Maio, 19, of Londonderry.

Also arrested were four 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old whose names are not being released.

All charges are class B misdemeanors; the alcohol offenses are violations.

New Boston police officers as well as State Police and officers from Weare, Goffstown, Amherst and Bedford helped break up the party.

The investigation is ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call the New Boston Police Department at 603-487-2433.
