Lawyer blasts city for 'no position' in cop's $2.7M inheritance from elderly woman with dementia
PORTSMOUTH — Attorney Paul McEachern said he's concerned "as a citizen and a lawyer" that the city is taking no position in a legal dispute over a $2.7 million estate that was largely left to police Sgt. Aaron Goodwin. "That's what people are concerned about," he said. "I think in the end, there's going to be an outcry and a demand for an investigation."
