Police looking for two men involved in unarmed robbery in Rochester ThursdayBy JOHN QUINN

ROCHESTER — Police responded around 12:15 a.m. Thursday after being notified a robbery happened about 15 minutes before in the wooded area known as Hanson Pines.
The victim — whom police did not identify — reported that he was walking along a trail through the Pines connecting a residential neighborhood to Spaulding High School when he was “jumped by two unknown males,” according to police.
He was punched and kicked by the two men and had minor injuries as a result. After stealing a laptop and his wallet, the unidentified pair ran toward the area of Spaulding High School, which is along Wakefield Street – Route 125, according to police.
The police dog search team responded but was unable to track the pair.
Both men had their faces covered when the robbery happened, police said.
