Three robbers strike Rochester Shell station early Monday
ROCHESTER — For the third time in a month, the Route 125 Shell Station was robbed, this time by a trio who fled the scene.
Police responded at 1:30 a.m. after the three men, including one brandishing a knife, entered the station and demanded money from the clerk.
The man with the knife demanded money, a second man took three cases of beer from a nearby cooler before serving as a lookout and the third man received an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk.
The three fled on foot and ran south, police said.
No one was hurt in the robbery, police said.
The police K-9 team was unable to locate the men, but officers found the beer a short distance from the store on Milton Road.
All three men were white and between 18 and 30 years old, according to police.
The man with the knife was wearing a gray sweat shirt, a black and white baseball cap and a face covering, police said.
The second was wearing a dark-colored jacket with a thick white stripe across the chest, a red, hooded sweatshirt under it, a red face covering and red gloves.
The third man was in a grey sweatshirt with a large yellow Northface emblem on the front.
