Manchester forums will allow public to question principal finalists

July 11. 2014 7:22PM

MANCHESTER — The city school district will host forums to allow the community to ask questions of the finalists for the vacant principal positions at Hallsville Elementary School and Southside Middle School, the district said in a release.

“This is a wonderful way to further involve our families and faculty in the process of choosing the best leaders for our schools,” school Superintendent Debra Livingston said in a statement. “It’s also a valuable part of the interview process for the candidates to get to know our school communities better and hear what is on their minds.”

The first forum will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hallsville School, 275 Jewett Street. The Southside forum will be held at the school, 140 South Jewett St., at 6 p.m. July 21.
