Manchester woman suffers injuries in dragging incident

MANCHESTER - A city woman told police that a man with whom she had a money dispute grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her as he drove his pickup truck out of the Rite Aid parking lot at 270 Mammoth Road shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The 33-year-old woman, who said she had known the man for a short time, did not specify what prompted the money dispute. The woman told police that when she fell, she believes she was run over by the truck and police said she sustained non-life threatening injuries to her lower extremities.

Witnesses said they heard the woman scream and saw the truck, operated by a white male, flee the scene at high speed traveling south on Mammoth Road and west on Valley Street.

The woman said the driver is six feet tall, with brown hair and a scruffy beard.
