Arrest made in fake Nashua bomb threat

SACCO

NASHUA — Police said they have arrested Mark Sacco, 48, on charges of making a bomb threat June 6.

Police were notified of a bomb threat early that morning by a Boston television station that said a male had called saying he was going to blow up Dalianis House and wanted media coverage.

Police who responded to the building at 59 Factory St., which offers transitional housing for homeless veterans, found no bomb and determined the call was a hoax. The building was also the scene of a suspicious fire April 8.

Police said the investigation by detectives into the bomb hoax led to the identification of Sacco, who has no fixed address, and an arrest warrant was obtained for him.

Sacco was arrested Wednesday and held on $1,500 cash/surety bail pending arraignment in Ninth Circuit Court-Nashua District Division.
