Granite State to host Korean War ceremony

CONCORD — Gov. Maggie Hassan will help honor New Hampshire’s Korean War veterans Saturday, June 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Army Aviation Support Facility.

The governor will co-host the event with Maj. Gen. William N. Reddel III, adjutant general of the New Hampshire National Guard, and members of the Korean American Society of New Hampshire.

They invite all Korean War veterans and their families to the ceremony. It is not necessary to make a reservation. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.

All Korean veterans will receive a commemorative book, a gift from the state.
