The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is doing country music justice this weekend with two boot-scootin' performances. On Saturday night Jamey Johnson will take the stage. Johnson is an acclaimed singer-songwriter who has written music - including 2005's "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" - for Trace Adkins, George Strait, and Jessie James to name a few. He's also known for songs like "The Dollar," "That Lonesome Song" and "The Guitar Song." Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the show. Also performing this weekend is Drive-By Truckers with Deer Tick. Inspired by the 70s Southern rock music, specifically Lynyrd Skynyrd, the band was one of the most well-respected alternative country-rock acts of the 2000's. It's definitely worth a drive by. Tickets for the Sunday show are $23 in advance, $28 the day of the show.
