NH sweeps Vt. in lacrosse

New Hampshire swept the Hanover Lions Byrne Cup Twin State all-star lacrosse games at Hanover High School Saturday.

The New Hampshire girls’ team beat the Vermont all-stars 25-9 and the boys won 10-3.

On the girls’ side, Hannah Seibel (four goals), Jesse Jay (three goals, assist), Madison Learned (three goals, three assists) and Drew Shapiro (four goals, two assists) led the way.

Mickenzie Larivee (goal, assist), Kim Arkell (goal, assist), Erin Coutts (two goals), Maeve Holland (two goals, assist), Tyler Behn (assist) and Danielle Cote (goal, assist) chipped in while Melissa Cino, Liz Auffant, Alexa Bedell and Liesel Robbins all added single tallies.

For the Granite State boys, Jacob Genest paced the offense with three goals.

Grant Alenson, Mac Martin, Dom St. Laurent and Ryan Stone had a goal each. Jack Carney (goal, assist), Buddy Carr (two assists), Nick Yennaco (goal, two assists), Oliver Ouellet (assist) and Tyler Tambouris (goal, two assists) added to the offense.
