Sudan removes shackles from wife of NH man facing death for being Christian, moves her to clinic

This image from Sudan captures the first time Daniel Wani, a U.S. citizen living in Manchester, was allowed to see his son, Martin, and wife, Meriam Ibrahim, since September after she was jailed for marrying a Christian. (Justice Center Sudan / MailOnline)

Meriam Ibrahim's chains were removed on doctor's orders after she gave birth to a daughter in jail in Khartoum's twin city of Omdurman. She was also moved from the prison cell she shared with other inmates to a prison clinic with a bed and air conditioning, her lawyer told AFP.
