Rochester bicyclist injured in collision; Farmington man charged

ROCHESTER — A Farmington man is charged with negligent driving after a collision with a bicyclist on Highland Street Sunday.
The accident, reported just after 5:30 p.m., involved a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, operated by Zackary Fisher, 26, of 1060 Ten Rod Road, Farmington, and bicyclist Sean Harmon, 44, of 17 Winter St., Apt. 4.
Both were traveling west on Highland Street when police said Fisher's SUV struck the bicyclist.
Harmon was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries described as not life-threatening.
Fisher is to be arraigned on the negligent driving charge in 7th Circuit Court, Rochester District Division on July 21.
