Two injured in motorcycle accident on I-293
MANCHESTER - A motorcycle driver and his passenger were seriously injured Sunday when the motorcycle drifted off Interstate 293, New Hampshire State Police said.
Troopers said Lonnie Puglia, 51, was northbound on I-293 near the Granite Street interchange when the accident happened around 10:40 a.m. when the motorcycle drifted to the left and rolled.
Puglia and passenger Sandra Randall, 49, were both thrown from the motorcycle, according to state police. Both were taken to Catholic Medical Center, then Puglia was flown to Tufts Medical Center in Massachusetts, state police said. Both were from Massachusetts, but hometowns and updates on their conditions were not immediately available Sunday afternoon.
