Police investigate break-in at Manchester beverage business

MANCHESTER — Police on Friday said someone used a heavy metal gas cap froma shut-off valve to smash the glass front door at Second Street Beverages before stealing a number of lottery tickets and assorted Seagram’s wine coolers.

According to a police press release, officers were called to the store at 7:40 a.m. after being called by an employee at the 865 Second St., business.

Police ask that anyone with information contact them at 668-8711. Anonymous tips for cash rewards can be made through Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040 or online at manchestercrieline.org.
