NHIAA Boys' Volleyball: Windham, Pinkerton spikers win

The Windham boys' volleyball team made quick work of Bishop Guertin of Nashua, beating the Cardinals in three games in Tuesday's Division I tournament quarterfinal. The Jaguars prevailed, 25-18, 25-8, 25-16.

Second-seeded Windham (15-2) moved on to play Timberlane of Plaistow, which blanked Hollis/Brookline, 3-0, in Tuesday’s quarterfinals. That semifinal match will be played Thursday at 5 p.m. at Nashua North.

Evan Todd notched 10 kills and Tim Raymond had five kills and 13 service points in the winning effort. Andrew Lowman and Tucker Lippold had seven and six blocks, respectively, and Lippold added 12 assists. Jack Grubbs had 10 assists and 11 service points. Tim Erdlen chipped in 11 digs, and Kurtis Jolicoeur had a strong all-around game for Windham.

Seventh-seeded BG finished 8-9.Pinkerton 3, Dover 1: Connor Holland had nine service points and two blocks as the Astros advanced with an 11-25, 25-22, 25-6, 25-17 home victory in the Division I quarterfinals.

Andrew Lechner contributed 11 kills and four blocks, and Cooper Williams had eight kills. Klyle Heidler handed out 26 assists and added four kills. German Terrero had 15 service points and 12 digs, and Cobi Moore notched 14 digs.

No. 4 Pinkerton will face No. 1 Salem in the other semifinal at Nashua North on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
