Windham couple found dead in Massachusetts home
WINDHAM — A Windham couple was found dead in their Buzzards Bay, Mass., home Wednesday afternoon.David McCutcheon, 57, and Jayne McCutcheon, 49, were found dead in the master bedroom of their home at 41 Little Bay Lane in Buzzards Bay, according to Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O' Keefe. The family had requested a well-being check of the house and the couple was discovered by Bourne poloce officers.
There were no obvious signs of foul play at the scene, O'Keefe said.
The McCutcheons' family also had requested a well-being check at the Little Bay Lane address the week before and Bourne officers found the couple alive at that time.
The deaths are being investigated by the Massachusetts chief medical examiner, Bourne police, and Massachusetts state police detectives.
The autopsy and toxicology tests will help determine the cause of death and how long the couple had been dead, O'Keefe said.
He said those results could take some time.
David McCutcheon had owned the Buzzards Bay home since 1994. Property records also indicated that he owned a home at 32 Beacon Hill Road in Windham.
A personal business website indicated that McCutcheon operated a computer channel partner consulting service, Windham Systems Group, LLC, out of the Beacon Hill Road address.
