BEDFORD — A missing 82-year-old Bedford woman was found Thursday night after she was involved in a minor accident in Hampstead, according to Bedford police.
Beverly Archambault suffered minor injuries in the crash, said Bedford police Sgt. Jessica Humphrey. Humphrey said she had no details about the accident.
No one was available at the Hampstead Police Department to comment on the incident.
Police do not know where Archambault had been from the time she was reported missing Wednesday morning at 9:45 a.m., Humphrey said.
She was reunited with her family last night. Police asked for the public's help in finding Archambault after family members called authorities Wednesday morning to say they had been unable to contact her. Her car was not at her home and friends and relatives reported they had not seen her, police said.
Bedford police operate an automated “Are You Okay?” system that calls participating seniors daily. The last documented contact with Archambault came through that system at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Everything was normal at that time, police said.
Police were concerned that Archambault might have been confused, lost or experiencing medical difficulties.
