Teen safe-driving program launched in Manchester

MANCHESTER - Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the UPS Foundation have teamed up in Manchester to help keep teens safe on the road through a national driving program called UPS Road Code.

To celebrate the launch of this safe-driving program, the organizations will host a free event for teens and families from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manchester Union Street Clubhouse, 555 Union St.

At the event, teens will have the opportunity to test their skills on driving simulators, participate in a UPS Road Code obstacle course, take a safe driving quiz and sign a petition to pledge safety behind the wheel.
