Search on for two men after Dunkin' Donuts employee tied up during robbery
CONCORD — Police are searching for two men they say tied up a Dunkin’ Donuts employee before robbing the coffee shop early Friday.
A female employee stepped outside the Fisherville Road restaurant to take a break about 3:35 a.m. Friday when she was rushed by two men, who forced her into the back of the building and then into the kitchen, where they bound her hands and legs, police said. They then broke into a secure office and stole cash, police said.
Both men were described as white, possibly in their 20s. One was described as heavy set and wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, dark pants and a light-colored cloth on his face. The other man was described as thin and wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, light-colored pants and possibly a red bandana on his face.
Both men fled the restaurant on foot in an unknown direction. The woman was able to free her hands, after which she called police.
