Hooksett man allegedly threatens two with knife
HOOKSETT - A Hooksett man faces domestic violence charges after allegedly threatening his girlfriend and her father with a knife Friday night.
Hooksett police say they responded to Merrimack Heights Apartments, West River Road, Unit 113, at 10:26 p.m. Friday on a report of a domestic assault.
Police say upon arrival they determined that Dennis Allen, 25, pushed his girlfriend's father, then threatened both her and her father with a knife. Allen was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic violence-related criminal threatening charges, both Class B felonies.
Police determined that he also had an electronic bench warrant issued for him from Rochester Circuit Court for operating after suspension of license.
Allen was held on $5,000 cash bail at the Merrimack County jail in Boscawen over the weekend, and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
