Man in hospital after stabbing


MANCHESTER — No arrests have been made in an apparently random stabbing attack the sent a Manchester man to the hospital late Wednesday, according to police.

The 38-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was attacked by an “unknown” group of men about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Beech and Green streets, police said. He was stabbed multiple times in the torso and face and taken to Elliot Hospital, where he underwent surgery to treat his wounds, police said.

No other information about the incident was available Thursday night.
