Not only did Lavallee pitch a complete game and strike out a career-high 14 batters, she also collected two of Central's five hits and drove in a run to help her team raise its Division I record to 5-1.
Central entered Friday's contest trailing only unbeaten Timberlane of Plaistow and Salem in the Division I standings.
Sophomore first baseman Kindred St. Germain had two hits and scored both Central runs. Lavallee doubled in St. Germain in the third, and Colleen O'Hara's single scored Germain in the fifth.
Londonderry's two hits were Brooke Tulley's single in the fifth, and a Sam Harris single in the seventh. Taylor Wood (walk) and Colleen Lewis (error) were Londonderry's only other baserunners.
"She definitely had a little more power today, which was good to see," Central coach Josh Borges said. "She's been able to keep us in every game. She also had two solid hits, so it's really coming together for her right now."
