Man arrested after two men robbed on Canal Street

MANCHESTER - A 34-year-old Manchester man was arrested and charged with robbery shortly after two men were robbed after midnight Wednesday mornin<br/><br />The two men, a 49-year-old and his 47-year-old neighbor, said a man walked up to them and talked in a friendly manner, then produced a knife and demanded their money and cigarettes. Police said the man punched the neighbor in the throat as he escaped.

When Boyer was detained, he was found with a folding knife. He was charged with robbery and simple assault.
