Portsmouth officer's disputed inheritance case a Rubik's Cube, says city attorney
PORTSMOUTH — The city's involvement in a legal dispute over a $2.5 million estate, left by Geraldine Webber to police Sgt. Aaron Goodwin, is like a Rubik's Cube, said City Attorney Robert Sullivan. As more facts are revealed, the city's actions and reactions to the "complex" case will change, Sullivan said. He said, the city is presently "participating as an observer."
