Police: Boscawen chase involved homeless man at wheel
BOSCAWEN — A homeless man faces several charges after a police ended a car chase Monday by taking out the front tires an SUV he is accused of stealing, New Hampshire State Police said.
Shaun Michael Cook, 36, was taken into custody after the chase that started near Franklin and ended in Bristol on Route 3A, state police said.
Investigators found Cook was wanted on a felony parole violation with no bail and several misdemeanor warrants from police in Plymouth.
The chase started around 8:20 a.m. when state troopers spotted a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer, which had been reported stolen in Boscawen.It lasted about 11 minutes before Cook was in custody.
