Berlin requests county funds to assist in dispute over value of hydro plants

BERLIN The city of Berlin has requested $15,000 from Coos County to help cover its legal costs in its dispute with Great Lakes Hydro America over the assessment of hydroelectric facilities on the Androscoggin River. Coos County last year established a utility defense fund to help Coos communities defend utility assessments against challenges from utilities.
