Footwear drive to help Liberty House

Hooksett American Legion Post 37 is teaming up with UNH Manchester's Student Veteran Advocacy Team in a drive to collect new and "gently-used" sneakers and other footwear for donation to Liberty House.

Liberty House is the Manchester transitional housing facility for homeless veterans.

The drive takes place from April 14 through May 2 with drop-off bins at UNH Manchester in the Millyard as well as at Post 37, which is situated at 5 Riverside Drive, Hooksett.

Liberty House supports residents in its 10-bed facility as well as other area homeless veterans.
