Family, friends gather on anniversary of Conway girl's disappearance

CONWAY -- Friends and family of missing 15-year-old Kennett High School freshman Abigail Hernandez gathered together at the home of Abigail's mother, Zenya, on Wednesday night, the six-month anniversary of Abigail's disappearance.

They made a banner with saying "We Love You" on it, and all wrote "messages of love" on the banner, said Amanda Smith, a volunteer working to bring Abigail home.

"We talked about what a great kid Abby is. Loving, compassionate, kind, smart. It was an amazing show of support to Abby, her mom and sister. We will never lose hope," Smith said.
