Fugitive of the Week found in Central Street basement

MANCHESTER — Manchester Police K-9 Link tracked down a "Fugitive of the Week" hiding in the basement of a Central Street apartment house late Monday afternoon.

Antonio Jose Clough, 30, also known as Antonio Touch, was wanted for federal violations of supervised release on an underlying conviction from 2010 for selling cocaine.

Based on several tips and information developed by the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, investigators learned Clough was living in an apartment in the 400 block of Central Street.

Late Monday afternoon, several members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, including the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Manchester police and deputy U.S. Marshals went to the apartment building. K-9 Link was brought to the scene and the police dog quickly found Clough hiding in the basement. He was arrested without incident.

Clough is being detained in Merrimack County jail, pending a court appearance Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Concord.

He was featured as a "Fugitive of the Week" on Jan. 30, which resulted in tips being phoned in to law enforcement.
