Maine man charged with possessing child pornography

DOVER — A Maine man faces multiple charges for allegedly possessing more than a dozen images of child sex abuse images.

David J. Pollard, 53, of 7 Charles St. in Sanford, Maine, was charged with 15 counts of possessing photos and videos of children performing sexual acts.

A grand jury handed up the indictments March 20. Pollard is scheduled to appear for an arraignment April 3 at 9 a.m.

Each count of possessing child sexual images is a class A felony, which could result in up to 7½ to 15 years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
