UPDATE: Man held in Laconia drug case

LACONIA — A man arrested Tuesday on drug charges after what police said was an eight-month investigation is in Belknap County jail after he was arraigned and held on $100,000 cash bail.

Police said Roger R. Perkins Jr., 31, and Windyann M. Plunkett, 30, both of 23 Gale Ave., were arrested following a raid on their home about 2 p.m. Tuesday. Perkins, who police said also lives in Methuen, Mass., was charged with two counts of possession of drugs with intent to distribute, and Plunkett was charged with one count of drug possession.
Laconia police seized cash, several types of controlled drugs, a  revolver and semiautomatic, as well as a large quantity of electronic surveillance equipment including cameras, transmission and recording devices form the Gale Avenue home.
Perkins is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in 4th Circuit Court, Laconia District Division, on April 3. Plunkett is scheduled to appear in court May 8.
