NH College Notebook: Rye's Drummond sets Smith College scoring mark
A former Portsmouth High School basketball and volleyball standout, Drummond pushed past Phoebe Jacobs (Class of 1993) atop the scoring list with a layup early in Smith's win over Rivier and finished the night with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

FRANKLIN PIERCE junior Antoine Gisore (Concord) leads several Raven athletes who have received All-East Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Gisore received recognition for his performances in the mile and the 3,000 meters individually, as well as for his role on the distance medley relay squad. His top time in the mile was 4 minutes, 14.80 seconds, tied for 36th in the country. In the 3,000, his top time of 8:27.54 ranked 28th in the country.
Four Franklin Pierce athletes earned All-Region honors in the pole vault, led by Chris Bohi (Loudon), Mark Choiniere (Ballston Spa, N.Y.), John Delahanty (Long Beach, N.Y.) and Max Fanwich (Wilton, Conn.)
FOUR UNH women's basketball players earned America East honors at the conference's annual banquet, held Thursday in Albany, N.Y.
Senior guard and co-captain Kelsey Hogan (Nashua) was named to the America East First team after leading UNH in points per game (12.4), 3-point percentage (.360), free throw percentage (.814) and assists per game (3.2).
Belanger, a sophomore guard, averaged 9.9 points and leads UNH with 6.6 rebounds per game.

After averaging more than 16 points per game for the NHTI women's basketball team, Allura LeBlanc (Northwood), a senior forward, has been named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association Div. 2 Honorable Mention All-American and a Div. 2 Academic All-American.
LeBlanc averaged 16.3 points per game for NHTI, along with 11.3 rebounds per game and 1.6 assists per game.
THREE HOCKEY players from Daniel Webster College have been selected to play in the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association All-Star game today at noon at St. Anselm College.
Freshman David Downie (Merrimack), senior Ben Firman (Bedford) and senior Ron Corcoran (Tyngsboro, Mass.) were honored.
Firman, a goaltender, posted a 4.96 goals-against average and a .820 save percentage.
A PAIR of Daniel Webster College women's basketball players have been selected to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All Conference teams.Ashley England (Old Town, Maine) was named to the all-conference second team while forward Ashley Giampetruzzi (Manchester) was named a conference honorable mention selection.
Giampetruzzi, a former Manchester High School Central standout, earned her second straight all-conference honorable mention selection. A sophomore, Giampetruzzi averaged 11.6 points and 6.0 rebounds while adding 39 assists, 22 steals and 10 blocks.
REGIS COLLEGE junior guard Emilee Marro (Bedford) has been named to the New England Collegiate Conferences All-Conference First Team.
Marro earned her second consecutive First Team selection after being an honorable mention selection as a freshman.
She was also named the NECC Tournament MVP last weekend as Regis defeated Elms College to advance to the NCAA Div. III tournament.
