Nashua man avoids prison in sex assault after victim, family show ‘generosity’

“Were it not for the generosity of the victim and her family, the defendant would be looking at a state prison sentence,” Devine said at a sentencing hearing at Hillsborough County Superior Court on Wednesday. “They feel he is a young man and shouldn’t have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.”
