Liquid natural gas project would Gorham papermill from future winter price spikes
BERLIN – Northern Community Investment Corporation and Clear Energy will apply for a federal Economic Development Administration grant to develop liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel stations in Groveton and at the Gorham Paper and Tissue mill in Gorham. For the GPT mill, the LNG fuel station would help the mill avoid the high spikes in natural gas prices during the winter months.
